Since there hasn't been a change in bullying over the years, why should we still try?
Instead of using the schools money on classes for bullying, they should spend it on sports and academics. Because, that wont only put the money to a good use, but also to get more kids involved and to have a boost in self-confidence for themselves.
You also need to think about where the bullies get it from, and why the do it.
Statistics say that the source of bullying comes from how their parents treat them, and how they feel about themselves. Low self esteem leads to being rude to others to make yourself feel better.
Second Opinion:
Bullying is a big problem, and kids are not well equipped to handle it. WikiAnswer has a zero-tolerance policy on cyberbullying, and schools as well should have a zero-tolerance policy on bullying. There should be seminars and training, both for potential bullys and for potential victims. At minimum, someone caught bullying should be suspended, with a flunking grade for every subject they are taking, and repeat offenders should be expelled. Again, ZERO-TOLERANCE.
yes they help students solve the bullying and the bully cant pick on them no more because they have defeated the bully.

Bullying is no more prevalent in schools than it has ever been in the past. It is simply more apparent and immediate because of modern technology. As far as the attention it has gotten in schools, this is likely due to the attention it has gotten from the media. Misery sells, and media sells misery.

Cameras can act as a deterrent to bullying in schools by increasing surveillance and accountability, potentially discouraging students from engaging in such behavior. They also provide evidence of incidents, which can help school authorities address bullying more effectively. However, cameras alone are not a comprehensive solution; fostering a positive school culture and implementing effective anti-bullying programs are crucial for long-term change. Ultimately, a combination of monitoring and proactive measures is necessary to combat bullying effectively.

Sometimes, It really depends on what type of Bullies there are. If its an all girl school , its more of a possible chance for cyber bullying. For guys, they do alot of Physical Bullying , sometimes it would occur at an all boy school. Girls-Verbal Bullying most occurs than social and then cyber. Guys-Verbal Bullying (Swearing), Social , cyber (like a 10% chance) & most of all, Physical Bullying. I think that bullying should really stop. Its bad , and can hurt people , those people that are bullied , there self-esteem drops low. And the cause of Bullies is usually when they were smaller , or that they just think there cool. When they were smaller they may have gotten teased or anything like that. Overall the end message is- Stop Bullying!
