Some believe that it is not ethical to do so, because (with current technology) embryos are destroyed - in other words, you kill one human being to create another one.

But this is only with current technology, it may eventually be solved. A point that worries me, that is not often mentioned, is a possible reduction of genetic variety, if many people want children that have the exact genes of a few famous people.

One of the main reason is that cloned animals frequently suffer from certain defects and there are ethical concerns about making humans that way. Some people also have ethical objections to copying a human being.
