There is absolutely no logical reason why marijuana should not be legal... Racism is what made it illegal in the first place, not scientific research. There are way more harmful drugs that are easily attainable. Just look in your liquor or medicine cabinets. For those who say it is a gateway drug should know that people who use it as such will have tried other drugs eventually if marijuana wasn't as easily attainable. It doesn't give them an escape from their self hate, so they feel the need to find something that will. Very rarely do people without psychological issues turn to hard drugs. Marijuana usage does not kill, lead to violence, make a user addicted, harm a user anymore than a cigarette or shot of alcohol, nor is it a gateway drug.
