This is a very good question. No matter how many times woman will hear men say how much they hate uggs they still wear them. Now that fashion has taken a turn and is heading off in another direction than uggs (toms), its not as popular as it used to be. Now speaking as a guy I will not try to be bias. Have talked to a lot of guys aobut this topic. Here are the main reasons.
1. Since we see fashion in a simple way more 2D rather than 3D uggs are boots, boots are meant for hiking, and when you hike you never look attractive. So why would you wear hiking material to school?
2. Just because everyone else is wearing doesn't mean you need to. Believe me if you didn't like them at first and had to grow into liking them because of everyone else, you should've listened to your gut instinct.
3. They make your legs look unattractive. They just make them look fat and it makes woman look weird when they walk, hence they are really bad for your feet.
4. They go horribly with jeans. Just don't do it, its like wearing socks and sandals, its not as bad but it's close.
5. The ultimate evil of them all is the 2 and half feet tall fury/hairy uggs. Honestly have you guys ever taken a step back and really look at those things. You look like you own sasquatch's feet.
I hope this helped you and I didn't insult you to much. Just remember if you where them like you said wear them around other woman not men. Men like to see simple, converse, toms, vans (not the skating ones), high heels, something more classic looking. Hell i could tell you another story about why girls look best in skirts and high heels, instead of yoga pants.
