The rabbit feels very uncomfortable and thinks a stranger is petting him/her. It is lilt combing your hair backwards-- it just doesn't feel right.
No.
you can by rabbit shampoo from pet shops. i wouldn't use anything else since rabbits lick their fur.
You've got it backwards. The question is why do we call rabbits bunnies. Rabbit is the name of the animal. A long time ago, people used to call their sweethearts "bunny," and that pet name somehow got transferred to pet rabbits as well.
rabbits were origianly domesticated and bred in France for meat and fur. now, there are meat rabbits, fur rabbits, and rabbirs that are not good for either of these activities. they are pet rabbits OR breeder rabbits. all that is true from a humans point of view but as with most things from evolution's point of view rabbit are for breeding as much as possible and generally surviving.
Angora rabbits can be used for being a pet. You can use their fur to make clothing such as sweaters or gloves. On rare occasions they are used for MEAT.
Where their straw is, when your rabbit is nearly ready to give birth, she will begin to pull out her fur, where she puts it is where she give birth. The fur is to keep the babies warm.
I would say no, but I don't know how you think. Are you keeping them for pets? Fur? Meat? If pets, don't. They are wild animals, and there are domesticated rabbits for your pet needs. If fur or meat, depending on the size of the pen. A regular pen for two pet rabbits are too small for breeding rabbits. If on a large large field, could work, but why? Is it even legal? The space they will need in time in an enclosure is difficult to fix. And it is certainly not profitable, or healthy for the rabbits.
Pet stores get their rabbits from people who breed their pet rabbits.
Not always, New Zealand rabbits were bred for fur and meat. This rabbit is a good pet for experienced rabbit owners. Beginners should get gentle rabbits like the Dutch, Netherland Dwarf, or English Lop.
You can't buy wild rabbits for sale, only pet rabbits. Wild rabbits, like all wild animals, should be left alone and not domesticated, or caught and sold. It's one thing to hunt wild rabbits, and then sell their body or products (meat, fur), but you shouldn't catch and sell wild rabbits as live animals: there are enough pet rabbits to go around (in fact, in many places, there are too many -- overpopulation).
easy...you shouldnt have one
