Heat transfer takes place due to collision in atoms (of which everything around us is mad). In solids these atoms are near to each other but in gas atoms are very very far from each other.
So in case of solids, it is easier to transfer the heat in form of collisions but in air it is difficult to transfer these collisions.
Note: Heat is transferred in form of collisions because heat increases speed of atoms. This speed when transferred to adjacent atoms by collisions, transfers the heat.
you can pick the solids out with your hands
pick up the solids with your hands and separate them from the liquids :P

He was 5th pick in 2003 for the Miami Heat
It is used to pick up a small amount of solids, such as sugar.
Who was the first pick by the Miami Heat in the 1988 expansion draft
He was 5th pick in 2003 for the Miami Heat
pretty darn fast how fast
Because the force of attraction between the particles is not as strong as those in solids and the particles move freely about the liquid. Hence, when heat is passed through the liquid. It takes a longer time for the particles to collide with one another and passing the heat energy to the other particle.
no
You can use a pick or hands to play fast, it just takes time and continual practice. One of the quickest and easiest ways to play fast is to practice with a pick.
pick out unusual stuff about them.
