I don't think it's just atheists who feel this - some people of all kind of beliefs and philosophies feel that marriage is not for them.
An atheist can marry when they feel they are mature enough adults to get married.
Some Republicans feel they will not be re-elected if they publicly support same-sex marriage.
Of course. There are no religious requirements to get married.
Michael Moore was raised, and identifies as, Catholic. But, disagrees with some of the churches opinions on such things as same-sex marriage and abortion.
i feel he is ready to get marriage now
same as everyone else... :P
Nurse is ok with the marriage,
Of course you can be an atheist if your parents are Christian. You can also be an atheist even if they had you baptised according to their beliefs, and you need not do any more. Whether or not you are an atheist depends on what you genuinely believe and genuinely do not believe, so no ritual or convention can change that. Your beliefs are a personal matter, so it is a personal choice for you whether you wish to tell your parents that you are an atheist. If you feel that this would hurt them, you can delay this until a better time. Atheism does not require anyone to tell others about what they believe or do not believe. However you may feel more comfortable by telling other people whom you feel should know that you are an atheist.
they probably feel weird about it or they feel you was too young to get married. but some teens dont obsesivley know that it is wrong to get married young.
its all about how YOU feel about it. in some cases yes in others no.
No. Some of the members have confirmed that they are Atheists, but they are not an Atheist band.
Some people believe that marriage is an outdated institution. This is due primarily to the high divorce rate in the United States, which leads some people to believe that marriage is not important anymore. However, if two people feel that they should be married, then the option should be available to them.
