There are a variety of reasons why a person might live alone. First is lack of companionship - some people are single and don't have anyone else to live with even if they wanted to. Second is lack of desire - some people don't want to live with other people. Third is lack of space - having a roommate in a studio apartment is very cramped quarters.
I have chosen to live alone because I like the quiet and the freedom to do whatever I want whenever I want without having to worry that I'm disturbing someone else. I can take a nap at 4 PM and turn up the music at 2 AM if I want.

∙ 11y agoIn general, the only people who enjoy loneliness are those who are afraid of connections with others. Connections can mean responsibilities as well as betrayal. And there are people who simply don't know how to handle their emotions. So basically, seclusion is their sanctuary of emotional control.

we all hate the feeling of being alone during those times when we need someone. some of us enjoys being alone whilst some of us hate to be alone. humans rely on each other to survive. there is no way that we are all 100 percent independent.
