Why technology bad for kids?

Technology in itself is neither good or bad, it's all in how it's used.

A surgeon's scalpel can maim just as easily as it can cure.

But there is growing concern that parents of young children are spending attention on phones and ipads that otherwise would have been given to the kid(s).

And there's the "TV as a babysitter" thing too. No one really knows what too much of this does to a kid.
