I think it's not right to say earth has a limited supply of water but earth has a limited supply of fresh water. But STILL THE BALANCE IS MAINTAINED BY WATER CYCLE.
Answer:
Water on the Earth cycles through various conditions (ice, water, rain, vapour, parts of cells, chemically bound up, etc.). Processes such as evaporation purify the water even though it may have been salty or contaminated. Biological and chemical combinations store it in an "in use" format but this can be released by heat, decomposition or chemical reaction. Ice and snow and groundwater keep the water out of sight, but it does not vanish. The total overall water amount on Earth is seldom reduced, destroyed or added to and stays constant.
The reason why fresh water is considered a limited resource is because the large majority of water on earth is saltwater. 97 percent of the earth's water supply is saltwater and only 2.5 percent is fresh water, some of which is snow and ice.
Yes, because limited water supply is helpful to keeping our water supply nice and organized and that everyone gets an equal share of water
earth remain Fly constrant over time though this does not mean that precipitation will increase
Water has NOT become an economic commodity. Clean drinking water, however has become economic commodity since there is a limited supply of it available on Earth.
it is earth's water supply
Large populated cities, combined with significant agribusiness needs stress the limited water supply of southern California.
