  1. Soaps acts as an emulsion and surrounds the oil. This causes the droplets of oil to stay suspended in water. Agitation shifts most of the emulsion of grease and water off the clothes and into the washing machine. Rising clothes with clean water gets rid of any soap and grease that are left behind.

laundry means washing (dirty/used cloths) say if you say "im going to do the laundry" your going to do the washing/ your going to wash the clothes.
