Modifying the car
Solution design and evalution
The 'kink effect' now-a-days used in semiconductor physics describes the design characteristic of a semiconductor device. The design earns it's name after 'Hofmeister kink effect' a car design which describes sharp streamlined type (by look) design of rear window bottom. The kink effect in semiconductor device describes such sharp heterojunction intentionally or unintentionally observed in the device.
They usually try to make the car they are designing, more fuel efficient, safer, and try to come up with ways to improve the current design.
The energy produced by the engine is mostly used to power the car, but due to an imperfect design, some energy still remains in the form of heat.
This shape of car reduces turbulence by stremlining the fluid. Therefore less resistance is offered by air and car moves faster with less expenditure of fuel
A unique design, paddle shifters, and wide and low, short shape.
Car or vehicle.
you command a submarine
Yes the 1959 Cadillac is considered to be a collectable car. Its unique shape and body work mean it is considered a classic design and highly sought after by collectors.
To acheive maximum aerodynamic effect while staying inside certain design parameters decided upon by the FIA
Superman, Stingray ( about a submarine, not the car)
How Do They Do It - 2006 Submarine Moving Earth Beer Car 3-6 was released on: USA: 7 February 2007
It depends on what aspect of the car you are interested in. If you'd like to design the mechanical aspects of automobiles, you'll want to get a degree in mechanical engineering. This will give you the toolbox and basis for car part design. For example, when designing a turbo system for the engine, you'll want to figure out what type of ball bearings to use, or how the heat generated will affect the surrounding systems. In school, you'll have learned about force diagrams and heat transfer between materials. Same goes with designing the shape of the car. The Prius' shape minimizes the friction/drag from the air it drives through. An engineer had to figure out what shape was optimal for a low co-efficient of friction when driving. Of course, the shape of a car and how a car looks and feels, is also up to the marketting team. Graphic design or product design is more applicable to how a car looks, where the schooling is more about connecting with the customer and ergonomics (less about hardcore engineering and numbers). Computer engineering and Electrical engineering are also important roles in car engineering, but deal with other aspects of the car that are more specific. I think if you are looking for an overall education to get into designing cars, mechanical engineering is the way to go. hope this helps!
It is an option for car design.
The streamlining shape.
It needs to be in good shape.
