This is probably because you clicked the Remember Me option when you logged into your account.
Go back to where you logged in at and under the password or at the bottom of the page it should say log out. Hope this helps
What you need to do is go on facebook home page and press Forgotten Password . Then Facebook will send you an email telling you if you want to change it press yes then reset your password.After that put in your email and new password in and hopefully it should work!

if your logged into your account then you can go to account settings and type in your old password in the top box then type in your new one in the next two boxes and click save. if you have completely fogotten your password you can type in your email then click the forgot password button and it will be sent to your email where you can check it and save a new one
