Because the motherboard is made 2 support a certain amount.like 2.8,3.0.if u try 2 put a higher prrosser it may burn Ur motherboard.
Correct.
A Motherboard.
sounds like a bad processor or a fan not spining usally clicking is processor and most of the time they don't go completely out they will turn on warm up then shut off again. but always make sure the fans are spinning. If you don't get anything then couse be a bad surge "lightning strike" witch can fry your motherboard or if someone has recently touched the motherboard with metals or bare hand that can malfuction it as well. never touch a motherboard if it is possible of passing through static
I have this motherboard with 1GB RAM but it is DDR. If a Motherboard supports DDR it cant support DDR2.
You cant mix differente speeds or types of ram. Sizes are ok to mix. Oh and you cant put in ram with a higher speed than your motherboard can handle, plus all computers have a maximum ram which can be installed, so check that too.
it's very simple. no, you cant because the processor is soldered on the board
no it cant
My friend, there is a thing, the main part of the system known as motherboard and there are certain "limitations" to every board...So what I wanna say is if you increase the RAM you will surely find some change in speed but the maximum amount of RAM that can fix on to a motherboard varies like you cant keep 2gb for a motherboard which can support 1gb ram ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The above data has some extra info too but I thoughtr you should know this!!! SIMPLY THE ANSWER IS YES
We dont know what exact xeon you have (model, socket), so we cant anwser that.
The processor (CPU) and memory (RAM) can be found on the motherboard of your PC. The CPU is under the CPU Cooler, which in most cases looks like a fan over an aluminum or copper "box" on your motherboard. You really cant miss it. Be careful if you try to remove it, handling it carelessly can cause permanent damage to your motherboard/CPU. The memory/RAM is usually sitting beside the CPU, the look like strips which measure about 4 inches with little chips attached to the side. Again be sure to be static-free when you handle any PC component. The storage device is quite easy to find. It's in the front of the PC Cabinet. Usually screwed in position.
you cant
It cant
