We only have one star in our solar system, the Sun. The others are in there own solar systems. Each solar system has 1-2 stars in their system, most of the time two making them binary.

Stars are made up of pressurized gases thousands of times denser then diamond, yet they are a plasma. A star needs a huge amount of gases to clump together and became nuclear, most of the time gases are used up by the end of the formation of the second star. sometimes before resulting in a Jupiter or a "dead dwarf"
