the Chinese leader Deng Xiaoping brought in the policy in 1979 to try and stop communist china's population growth.
Population growth can be stop by educating people. Education is most important for stop growth in population.
The Chinese government can stop the one child policy if it chooses to, in 2010. However this seems unlikely as the aim of the government is to drastically lower the population of the country. At the same time the reason that they started the policy was so that everyone would have a certain amount of land to farm on. However, now the majority of China's population work in factories or cities. They therefore need less land and this is an incentive to stop the policy.
probably, but we will be dead by the time that happens so don't worry! also, there are ways to stop it like the one child policy.
The benefits of China's One Child Policy is that the population of China won't get to crowded and the country won't get into debt because of caring for so many children and families. So, the policy saves money for the country and helps stop the populated getting to densely populated.
World war 3
Mostly to stop unchecked population growth. After the PRC was formed, China was still one of the most populous countries in the world despite the ravages of war and famine. Most of China population at that time were farmers and parents produced many children (>3 in most of the cases) in hope of producing more human labour. This, if allowed to continue, would cause the already large population to mushroom to a size that would be impossible to maintain with the limited resources in China, leading to an eventual famine that would cause massive deaths and seriously impede any meaningful economic development. The government decided to implement the one-child policy to strictly control population growth by limiting the number of children to one per family (two in rural families if the first is a girl). This approach, though fraught with civil rights violations, have produced noticable results in reducing the population growth rate.
stop child labor and educate
The aim was to reduce the number of children in families at one time each family had 7 children. now it was one to stop the population expansion.
well when you think about it you can stop cheating and look at a book for once....
to encourage growth and try to stop or prevent a recession
Because child killing is not right! Actually, it is still upheld today.
