Televisions
Being part of the musical act- with some obvious choreography and costumes and other (TV friendly) touches, the Jackson Five probably first appeared on TV on the American Bandstand- not Sullivan.
In the 1950s, when rock and roll was becoming the dominant music on the radio and baby boomers like me were young teenagers, American Bandstand was the first nationally-syndicated show aimed at that baby boomer audience. It featured popular singers performing their hits (okay fine, they were lip-synching, but we were just excited to see them on TV), and also introduced us to a number of up-and-coming performers. Bandstand was a pop culture experience-- it featured stylishly dressed and attractive teens from the Philadelphia area (where the show was broadcast), doing the latest dances, which is how many of us learned the steps. We fans wanted to be like the folks we saw on Bandstand; they seemed so confident and poised; some were romantically involved too, and we vicariously lived through their relationships. I was among the many young teens who dreamed of one day dancing on the show or meeting Dick Clark himself. Coming home from school and watching American Bandstand was an important part of life in the late 1950s.

Rural land use is important to the United States because farming is basic to the economy and open space is important to the American heritage. Agriculture provides food for Americans as well as contributing to exports. Americans have always valued open space for relaxation and renewal. The rural landscape is an important part of how many Americans think of the United States and thus forms an inseparable part of the American heritage, whether it is in the movies, in painting, on television, in music, or in actuality.

Archie Bunker from the American TV series "All in the Family" was based on Alf Garnett from the British TV series "Til Death Do Us Part." Both characters were known for their bigoted and conservative views, sparking discussion and controversy around social issues of their time.
I think that's partly to do with the American TV culture - part and parcel of being on the TV is that you look good (in their eyes). The other part of it is insecurity - I guess they are not comfortable enough in their own skin to be aired on International TV Au'Natral. It's not a Christian thing - more an American thing.
not much
The American people viewing Yoruba movies are watching through cable television programming for instance for the most part. This is the best option for Americans.
