She taught Hellen Keller how to read, speak and wright, and basically understand the world around her which is pretty remarcable since she came from a orphanage and bacically begged for an education. But what was cool was that she never gave up on Hellen and eventually taught her these amazing things, even though Hellen was deaf and blind. She was also almost leaglly blind herself and went to school at the Perkins School for the Blind.
