He managed to poison himself a few hours before he was due to be hanged.
Goering had kept suicide pills since a year before the Nuremberg trial and after he was sentenced to death he bit it in his cell.
The Nuremberg trials were significant because Nuremberg was the city in Germany where the Nuremberg Laws were created, which deprived Jews of German citizenship. The trials were held in Nuremberg because it was almost like a punishment for the Nazis.
Actually, yes.Joseph Goebbels and his wife were so shocked and saddened by Hitler's death that the next day they poisoned their six young children, he shot his wife, and then shot himself.Hermann Goering tried to escape but was captured by the Allies and was put on trial at Nuremberg. He was found guilty and sentenced to be executed- however, he managed to poison himself before he was hanged.Heinrich Himmler also tried to escape capture, but like Goering, was captured. He poisoned himself soon after he was arrested. Many other mid-to-high level Nazis committed suicide by various means in order to escape justice at the hands of the Allied Powers. The above are a few of the most prominent leaders who committed suicide.
He got them to work for him by getting the Nazis to kill and the Nazis must like to kill.
After the war ended, many of the surviving leaders were put on trial, famously at Nuremberg. First the highest ranking political and military leaders of Nazi Germany, like Goering, Speer, Hess, Jodl and Doenitz were tried. Most of them were executed after being found guilty of various war crimes, although some simply received lengthy prison sentences. After this first major trial, there were a series of lesser trials against judges, doctors, businessmen, other lower ranking military leaders, and so forth. Most of these subsequent trials were to get the people who had carried out or benefited from the Holocaust. Additionally, in countries where Nazi Germany had occupied and done horrible things to the people, these people occasionally attacked Germans (and not just Nazi-linked ones) in retaliation for the horrors they had suffered. This was especially pronounced in Eastern Europe, in the countries liberated by the Soviet Union. Thousands of captured German soldiers (again, not just Nazis) died in Soviet labor camps after the war. There were also violent attacks in countries like Yugoslavia and Poland- I once met a woman of German descent who had to flee a town in northern Yugoslavia after the war due to the reprisals.
Throughout his life Hitler had few friends. Hitler had only one childhood friend, namely August Kubizek. Later in his life he had other friends like Goebbels, Hermann Goering, Rudolf Hess, Heinrich Himmler, Martin Bormann and Reinhard Heydrich, but near the end of his life Hitler considered only Eva Braun and his dog Blondi as his friends.

Some, like Maria Mandel, the head of the Auschwitz Women's Camp. were put on trial, convicted and hanged.

He held a lot of minor ministerial positions, like minister of forestry and governor of Prussia. His most important functions were that he was the commander of the Geheimestaatspolizei("secret state police") or Gestapo for short. He was also the commander in chief of the German Air Force.Although he wasn't formally made so, he was usually considered the second-in-command for most of Hitler's reign over Germany. At the very end of the war, Goering was accused of treason, fired and was ordered to be arrested/executed by Hitler; however, Hitler committed suicide and World War II ended before the sentence could be carried out. Goering was captured by the Allies, and committed suicide after he was found guilty at the Nuremberg war crimes trials.

There are now neo-Nazis in many countries.
The Nazis would kill the Jews and thae Jews would hide and runaway like mice.
The Nazis prioritized military values, especially zombie-like obedience to authority.
