Johnny Cash was an important musician because he change the way people saw music. His songs that he wrote had so much meaning behind them and also meant a lot to others. He got into drugs in his first marriage with Vivian he later overcame the drug use when he met his second wife June Carter who helped him recover. In all he had 7 kids 4 with Vivian, 2 step fathered with June and one son with June. In his early years before his music career he was in the Air Force after that he started playing music with his buddies from the Force who later became known as the Tennessee Three.
