Why was Julius Caesar kill?

Caesar was killed because he was too strong, and because he wanted to be a King (In fact, he was, in a way). A large group of Senators conspired and assassinated him in order to preserve their beloved Republic - it didn't work. Caesar's heir hunted and defeated his murderers before establishing the Empire. He also could not be defeated as a gladiator!

Julius Caesar was killed, because much like Adolf Hitler, he was a dictator. The Roman Senate was angry, because he overstepped his boundaries. He was put into power for an allotted six months, because, in times of war that was what they, the Romans, would do. Anyway, he entered the Senate building and was knifed to death by almost all of the senators for not relinquishing his powers after his term of office, for lack of a better term.
