London (being the capital of Great Britain) was bombed in retaliation for the earlier bombing by the British of Berlin, the capital of Germany. It was mostly a 'particular target' for Hitler who felt gravely insulted by the bombing of his capital city. The German military on the other hand had been focusing up to then on the bombing of British military air fields.
Historians generally believe that if the German command had been allowed to go on focusing on the air fields, the British air force might have been largely destroyed, making a German invasion feasible. As it was, the focus on London allowed the RAF to rebuild and regroup, which probably was a major factor in Germany's decision to call off the invasion of Britain.
The Luftwaffe, German term for their air force, was bombing anyone, anything and in particular the shipping ports of London. It was used as a scare tactic of the English people. It only strengthened their resolved to defeat the madman Hitler and the evil Nazis. That was their concept of the Nazis.
It is the same, London.
The German kingdom that was in the city of London was in Wales

German bombers bombed London from 1940 right to 1945.
Luftwaffe strived for only the best and strongest armies. His experience as a military leader allowed him to easily territorize wherever the hell he pleased.
London Charter of the International Military Tribunal happened in 1945.
I think it is the German-American physicist Fritz London :)
The bombing of London was both a strategic and tactical error because it served no military purpose. It achieved no military advantage as military bases, troops and equipment were located elsewhere. It didn't prevent Great Britain from sending more supplies and troops to the front. It failed to lower the moral of the population. Its main achievement was as propaganda press releases to the German population and to spur the British Government in to creating larger strikes themselves on German targets
