Copernicus gave Helios centric theory against Ptolemy's Geo centric theory.

Ptolemy considered earth to be the centre and all other planets including Sun go around the earth. But Copernicus denied this and he gave so rightly that Sun is at the centre and all the other planets including earth go around the Sun.
