I'm not completely sure, but I think Steve Jobs was very helpful to Apple as he created the two best-selling products for Apple (iPad & iPhone, after he was fired) (read below for more information).
He was fire by Apple after a while because of jealousy, as Apple thought they didn't need him. He then went to Samsung, and Apple started making rubbish products which were useless to everybody. One of the creations by Apple which failed I think was an 'iBox', which was meant to be a sort of computer-type thing, which only got about 10 sales around the world!
Later on, Apple decided to get Steve Jobs back, and he then invented the iPad and iPhone.
Now that Steve Jobs is dead, I'm not sure if most of you would agree, but I personally think that the iPhone 5S is far worse than the 4S.
