∙ 13y agoOn February 2, 2010, WWE Chairman Vince McMahon announced that ECW would be going off the air and would be replaced with a new weekly program in its slot in what McMahon announced as "the next evolution of WWE; the next evolution of television history." It was later announced that the show would air its final episode on February 16, 2010. On the February 9, 2010 episode of ECW, the new show's name was announced as WWE NXT. With the ECW brand disbanded, the ECW roster became free agents.

∙ 14y agoIn mid 2006, Vince Mcmahon had brought back ECW and there were alot of ecw originals like the dudley boys,super crazy,nuzio,sandman and more. then over the years, wwe was getting a little less violent because it was turning pg so they got rid of all the ORIGINAL ECW WRESTLERS because they were to violent in the wwe nowadays so now there are no more ecw wrestlers in the wwe but some are in tna like team 3D,Rhino,Raven,Taz etc. TNA rulez
