What was Napolean known for?

Well he is best known in America for selling us the Louisiana Territory even though we asked to buy New Orleans for 10 mil , he sells us the whole Louisiana territory for 15 mil and let me tell you, that's a really good buy so we (Thomas Jefferson being our president) bought Louisiana. Also we fought the Quasi War with him, if you're not familiar with the Quasi War it was a war between French and America because we went over to France to meet with their prime minister and he just like ignored us so then they said we had to pay them and apoligize to them if we wanted a meeting. We didn't even do anything and this made us mad so the Quasi war began.
