In Cassandra Clare's 'Bane Chronicles', it is revealed that Magnus Bane was banned from Peru but never knew why himself. Attention spoilers ahead: At the end Sebastian is killed, Luke and Jocelyn get married, Simon turns back into a human and his memory is taken but Magnus Bane asks him if he wants to become a shadowhunter and he says yes, and Magnus and Alec make up. The last scene is where Isabelle, Simon, Alec, Magnus, Jace, and Clary are on a beach together and it is almost like a happily ever after.......
