its called eclipse because it signifies how Jacob cant compete with Edward. Bella thinks of Jacob as her own personal sun and at the end of the book when she tells him this he says "the clouds i can handle but i cant fight an eclipse" meaning he cant even compete against Edward. Jacob is the sun and Edward is the moon and during an eclipse the moon covers up the sun meaning Edward will overshadow Jacob personally i think that is genius to think of Edward and Jacob as the sun and moon during an eclipse and to title the 3rd book eclipse
Or, a more 'anti-Twilight' view, because you can't look at it directly.

The book is called Breaking Dawn because it refers to Bella's human life ending and her Vampire life begining.

Not a drug; i would have been the air, the sun. Bella then rambals about Jake being a personal sun and stuff about clouds Jacob: The clouds i can handle, but I can't fight with an eclipse. The eclipse & drug analogies are refering to Edward, I think the clouds ar something to do with Mike Newton and Jessica & people like that.
