Why was the SmackDown moved to the Friday night death slot?

They have it on Tuesday because NXT is on Tuesday and its at 9. If people buy tickets just to see 1 hour of Wrestling it would be a rip off, so people get to the event they get to see 3 hours of wrestling. Isn't that better than just one hour!

The friday night sloth known as the debt slot is an American term for a period of televsision broadcasting whereby once a programme is put into this time of showing it is likely to be subsequently cancelled. WWE SmackDown was moved to this time because of falling viewer levels and was considered ot be known as a "lame duck". Since it has been moved however it has recieved better ratings.
