Migrant workers usually do the jobs that the locals don't want to do because they are generally hard work at low pay. however many of the islands surrounding Australia have endemic unemployment problems and the pay our employers give them for this work would make an enormous difference to both the employee and their community. We are in effect helping our neighbors and our selves.
