It was a major turning point in the American Revolution.
Well, there were several. The most important, offhand, would be Concord, Brooklyn Heights, Princeton, Saratoga, Monmoth and Cowpens. Although theyu held the field after Guilford Courthouse, after the battle they retreated completley out of the area.
The battle of Princeton was another triumph for the American side. It made them believe that they could still manage to win the war. Also, the battle made the British believe that the Americans could actually become independent.
Because it was the bloodiest battle of the American Revolution Hope it helped :)
They were both considered 'turning points' in the American Revolution.
