The death of Jesus is important to Christians because he was perfect. He committed no sins, thus he did not have to die but because he took on the sins of all humanity he was able to be the ultimate sacrifice for humanity's sins for all time. That's why Christians claim that Christ is their salvation.
of course they are!
the birth of Jesus, the death of Jesus, and the rising of Jesus!
The resurrection is what is important, but you can't have a resurrection without first having a death.
The birth & death of Jesus
Jesus is the Messiah and God's son. The books Mathew, Mark, Luke, and John, in the bible, tell the story of Jesus, from his birth to his death.
your mom let jesus to his death.
We Christians have salvation only after Jesus died and rose again, after the resurrection.
At Christmas time it is mostly a time for remembrance and thankfulness for the birth of Jesus, but it is good to remember why he came!
It commemorates Jesus' sacrifice, as commanded by him at the Last Supper before his death.
(Referring to the death of Stephen in the Holy Bible): The Martyrdom of Stephen was and is so important for the fact that he was the first martyr for the sake of Jesus Christ after he (Christ Jesus) had been crucified.
I guess because they are related....Christmas is celebrating the birth of Jesus and Easter is celebrating the death and resurection (coming back to life) of Jesus.
