The 15th century Russians made ice slides which eventually became our present Roller Coasters but they were a little different back then.Back then,they were made of wood and had ice on them.The people had to slide on blocks of ice shaped like sleds and stopped because of sand at the end of the ride.

It wasn't. There were first Russian ice slides. Then the Europeans built wooden tracks with little trenches for the wheels. The first roller coaster was built by La Marcus Adna Thompson in 1885 in New York.

They were actually Ice Slides made a long time ago. You would slide down a hill on a block of ice.
