The Luftwaffe was a large and modern air force.
Early in the war, the German air force began to attack England. The Luftwaffe had more aircraft and better ones. Their pilots had been trained for combat and some had fought in the Spanish Civil War, so they were experienced. The RAF had the advantages of fighting from their home bases, radar warning and nearby bases that allowed them to fight in combat longer than the Germans.they loved to kill dogs
The RAF is the British Royal Air Force and the Luftwaffe was and is the Airforce of Germany.
Because the RAF were jews
Luftwaffe
The German Luftwaffe
The Battle of Britain was fought by the RAF against the Luftwaffe.
The Luftwaffe shifted its focus from RAF airfields to British cities giving the RAF time to regroup, re-arm and basically get its strength back. The reason the Luftwaffe shifted its attention was because the RAF bombed Berlin in retaliation to a bombing raid on London. (A mistake made by one German raid)
The only aircraft that fought in Battle of Britain were British aircraft in RAF and German aircraft in Luftwaffe. The Italians had no part in the blitz or in the Battle of Britain. The only aircraft that fought in Battle of Britain were British aircraft in RAF and German aircraft in Luftwaffe

So called "ranks" of military forces mean nothing ! - The RAF were ranked pretty low before they kicked the Luftwaffe's **** in the Battle of Britain.
British = Royal Air Force, RAF German = Luftwaffe
Phase 2 of what? If you are referring to the Battle of Britain, then it was costly to the RAF & less costly to the Luftwaffe, however it was not a Luftwaffe victory. The Luftwaffe was most successful when its raids had a smaller number of bombers and more numbers of fighter escorts than the earliest raids.
