To be honest multiple reasons, when CN shorten the time of toonami the viewer count decrease along with replacing most of the anime with shows the played throught the week (chowder, flapjack, ect). Some say that naruto put the final nail in the coffin others say Synider ( the new CEO at the time ), but either way they cancelled it for due to the lack of views.
It was Stu Snyder Who is the new president of cartoon network got rid of toonami. and replaced it with cn real. i also think that maybe Micheal Lazzo might of had something to do with it. And i dont think that they like anime.
They didn't, at least again. It was taken off the air in 2008 due to low ratings but returned in 2013 and continues to air to this day [April 2017].

I wouldn't if I were you. To me, Toonami was the Dark Continent of Cartoon Network in its fairly early years. It went from not good to far worse when it showed too much suck-ass anime. No wonder Toonami is off the air.

Naruto does not come on anymore because Cartoon Network got rid of the line-up, "Toonami". Cartoon Network stated that if they had kept Toonami, they would have gone bankrupt. Thus, all shows in the Toonami line-up will no longer air on Cartoon Network, including Naruto.

Toonami first aired on Cartoon Network in 1997.
Naruto has not gone broke. Toonami (assuming you think Naruto was cancelled from Cartoon Network) was cancelled, which rid the network of Anime.
You can find it on Toonami on the Cartoon Network.

Toonami Jetstream ended on January 30, 2009, which was about 4 months after the cancellation of Toonami itself. Cartoon Network probably wanted to leave Toonami Jetstream up for a while to make people happy. But, then wanted to get rid of the Toonami branding completely, which was unannounced and happened out of nowhere. -ElectroGamer64
Toonami shows can be seen on Cartoon Network & on the adult swim website (as on May 2014)
In 2002 - 2007 it was on Cartoon Network's Toonami.
If you're asking about when shippuuden will air on Cartoon Network, I'm afraid to say it probably won't ever. I was told that Cartoon Network was getting rid of Toonami, of which aired Naruto, because if Cartoon Network kept it, they would go bankrupt.
No, I don't expect it to return. Cartoon Network has moved on.
