To be honest multiple reasons, when CN shorten the time of toonami the viewer count decrease along with replacing most of the anime with shows the played throught the week (chowder, flapjack,ect). Some say that naruto put the final nail in the coffin others say Synider ( the new CEO at the time ), but either way they cancelled it for due to the lack of views.

∙ 14y agoIt was Stu Snyder Who is the new president of cartoon network got rid of toonami. and replaced it with cn real. i also think that maybe Micheal Lazzo might of had something to do with it. And i dont think that they like anime.

∙ 7y agoThey didn't, at least again. It was taken off the air in 2008 due to low ratings but returned in 2013 and continues to air to this day [April 2017].
