Why was war created?

Violence increases violence. In wars, all of the murderers feel justified. They feel that their survival depends on killing others before they are killed, or that their way of life is being threatened. They feel that the other people are the oppressors, or that if they don't use violence, they will be the victims of other people's violence. They enter the situation with the intent of killing, and when someone they know is killed by an enemy who is equally human and equally terrified, the soldier imagines he is only enacting revenge when he kills the friends and families of his opponents. If violence became unthinkable to all people, wars would be impossible. Nobody would be able to use the excuse that failing to be violent would cause them to be victimized.
