At the centre of the Earth, or any body for that matter, the mass of the Earth is centralised at the centre,

At the centre of the earth there is no weight attributable to the earth's mass. But there is weight (a force) attributable to the sun's mass, neatly balanced out by the speed of the earth in its circular orbit. So the weight is mv2/r instead of mg (m= a mass placed at the centre, v=velocity in orbit, r= distance to sun). If the earth slowed to a stop, it, and everything at its centre would accelerate towards the sun. If somehow you could nail the earth down so it didn't fall in, that weight would be measureable with a spring balance. Ignoring galactic and intergalactic forces. I guess that's sophistry really.

What is weight of the body at the center of the earth?

Zero

Is the weight of a body constant at all places on the earth?

The weight of a person is not constant at all places on the Earth. The weight becomes zero at the center of the earth or far away from the Earth.

What is the body weight in centre of the earth?

The body weight at the center of the Earth would be zero because the mass surrounding you in all directions would create a gravitational pull in every direction, effectively cancelling out any perceived weight.

What is weight of earth?

AS WE KNOW, that there is the force of gravity at the center of Earth, if every part or portion of earth has its weight then net weight of the earth will be zero........

Where on the earth would the weight of body be zero why?

on the centre of the earth.

What happens to the mass of a body when it is at the center of the earth?

Assuming that you could get the mass there and intact, the mass of the body would not change. Its weight, however would be zero. Depending on the matter used, the volume might be considerably reduced due to pressure.

Weight of the body at the center of the earth?

Here's a nice general rule to ponder: At the center of mass of any planet ... whichis the center of the planet if its mass is distributed uniformly and symmetrically ...the weight of any object due to gravitational attraction is zero.

Where does a body have least weight equator or earth centre?

In the middle of the earth is where an object has the lightest weight. The weight is zero. The reason is that the mass of the object is pulled equally in all directions so all the forces cancel out.

As you get farther away from the earth what will happen to your weight?

It will steadily decrease as you move farther from the Earth's center of gravity. Eventually one's "Earth weight" can reach zero when the gravity of another body, such as the Moon or Sun, completely counteracts it. *In orbit, or freefall, measured weight is zero. In outer space, objects are always in "microgravity" having imperceptible weight, unless they approach close to another large body.

Does weight act towards the centre of the earth?

Yes, at the center it becomes zero.

What will be the weight of an object at centre of earth if it is 10kg on surface of earth?

The weight of the object at the center of the Earth would be zero. This is because at the center of the Earth, the gravitational forces from all directions cancel each other out.

What is the value of Earth's gravitational field at the center of the Earth?

In the cavity at the center of the Earth, your weight would be zero, because you would be pulled equally by gravity in all directions. - The gravitational field of Earth at its center is zero.
