Yes they did, during apartheid laws were passed that ensured and promoted the well-being and domination of other races over blacks, there was no equal opportunities to all races which meant that whites especially enjoyed supremacy over blacks.

Under apartheid, people from the Indian sub-continent were classed as 'coloureds' and had a status between that of whites and blacks.
The Blacks suffered because they had to pay more and had poorly done pictures.
During the Apartheid, black people couldn't share the same toilets with whites, they couldn't go schools, they basically couldn't do anything what whites did, whites didn't like the blacks even though South Africa was officially a black country...
