they built the castles well because they had to stay well protected over there enemy whom would often fight...:)

Not much was inside a castle. A few bits of furniture and table or two. No closets instead they used chests. Usually one fireplace in the great hall and some tapestry's on the walls. They were big empty spaces, but that fit the purpose of the castle and that was defense.
