In the First World War the opposing team and eventually our side used mustard gas in the front lines, which seriously or fatally wounded the soldiers on both sides. Because of this, the Second World War was said to almost definitely include different kinds of gasses, leading to the giving~out of gas masks to every child, man, woman, baby and even pet in the country. Sadly, they were never used.
