Ancient Egyptians believed in the after life. Mummification is the most well-body-preserving death ritual. Being mummified, the dead person could have his body preserved for a very long time, as we realise nowadays when we take a look at the discovered mummies. The pharaohs were mummified in order to lead a good life in the afterlife in which they believed in. The process (which took 70 days) was a pretty developed one. The objects found a pharaoh's tomb led scientist to the conclusion that every object in the tomb was there in order to ease the dead's afterlife.
