The area between the rivers contains fertile land and the rivers provide fishing and a water source. Early civilizations came from nomads settling down and farming. All early culture hearths started from a surplus of food. Agriculture between the rivers created a surplus of vegetables and fruits. The fishing and water create a permanent civilization.
