Seriously I have no idea, now I don't live in an area remotely cold( I don't even know what snow really looks like besides on pictures and movies) but really, aren't icebergs supposed to be HUGE and VISABLE seeing as it was capable of sinking the titanic....so either the crew were either really blind, not paying attention or they did see it and were hoping the titanic sprouting wings before the crash. (sarcasm there :p )
After the collision with the iceberg, Titanic filled with water for about ten minutes until she started to tip.
It continued south until it melted. The collision did not harm the iceberg.
Titanic's collision was at 11:40 PM. She floated until 2:20 AM (after midnight) when her stern sunk in the North Atlantic Ocean.

Most passengers had no idea of the extent of the damage, and were reassured by the crew as well that nothing was out of the ordinary. However, as you can imagine, the ship broke out in chaos once the danger was realized.
Nobody really knew that Titanic was going to sink until Thomas Andrews confirmed it to Captain Smith at 12:25; 45 minutes after the collision.

On the night the Titanic sank, lookout duty was performed by Frederick Fleet and Reginald Lee. They were stationed in the crow's nest and were responsible for spotting any potential obstacles, including icebergs. Despite their vigilance, they did not see the iceberg until it was too late to avoid a collision. Fleet famously reported the iceberg sighting to the bridge just moments before the disaster occurred.
The time between sighting the berg, ringing the warning bell, and the collision is believed to be a little less than forty seconds.
yes there is a titanic until now but at the bottom of the Atlantic ocean from the year 1912.
The Olympic never sank. It had a collision with another ship during Titanic's construction, and had to be brought back to the shipyard in Belfast to be repaired. Other than this, it had a long sailing career, until it was finally scrapped in 1938.Out of the three ships built by White Star in the early 20th century, the Titanic and the Britannic sank, but not the Olympic.
