Your problem is with the underhood fuse box/FCM. The FCM is the computer that is attached to the under hood fuse box. You need a wiring diagram to diagnose.
I have a similar problem with a 2001 Grand Caravan Sport - Passenger side blows cold air at all settings. So far research has pointed toward a bad actuator and/or blockage of some type at or in the heater box. Haven't yet dug into it to confirm but I'll post once I have.
It is along the under body on the passenger side. Don't waste your time. Except for the diesel trucks, you will never solve a running problem on a Chrysler product by replacing the fuel filter.
A/C condenser drain line is stopped up. Look under the car, usually on the passenger side for a drain tube. Insert a blunt pencil or such object into the end and clean it out. Here is the way I solved this problem. Go to this web site. http://mcarverphoto.com/caravan/web/ .
A caravan is like any other trailer. A strong tow car, good tires on both car and caravan, it's not a problem until the snow gets too deep.
This is not really an answer, but I have a problem with a wiring harness on my 93 caravan also. I have not gotten to the point of solving the problem, but was wondering if you got your problem solved and if you found a diagram and where did you get your wiring harness? Another searcher!!!!
There's a TSB on this problem.
most common problem is the blower resistor In the firewall on the passenger side of the truck is the blower motor speed resister coils, they burn out alot. I could not find one for my Dakota so I got one from a dodge caravan and I changed the wirring, that is the most likely problem
If the window motor is not running to raise the window, then several things need to be checked to fix the problem. Check the fuse, switch, wiring, and window motor to find which part is bad and needs to be replaced.
check the fuse on the fuse box,or under the passenger glove compartment is a piece that look like a coil i dont know what is call, but i had the same problem and change the piece under the compartment and in working
have vehicle scanned to determine the problem
I have the same problem and I had to go to a dealer preferably dodge dealer to get it fixed. Popular problem on caravans!
I had the same problem and to my disbelief it was a taillight assembly that had a short. I bought a used one at a junk yard for $10.00 after checking and rechecking fuses, wires, everything i could think of. My brother was washing my van and found the problem. In my case it was the passenger side, rear tail light assembly.. hope it works for you.
