No, but you can't buy anything anymore, so it would be like you didn't buy a barbiegirl. Like in the beginning of the game you have to buy a barbiegirl so that you could get cooler clothing, now, if your barbiegirls bip membership ends you just go back to being a normal barbie doll. But there are options to make your membership last longer, and if you do that, then you will get cool items.
