Linux is not dependent on any particular ISP. As long as your modem is supported or your router and network card are working, there shouldn't be any problems.
The DSL modem that qwest provides to each customer is going to be the best modem because it is up to date in software.
Yes Qwest is a great provider for DSL. I used to use Qwest many years back for DSL until I upgraded to broadband and I never had any problems with them. Qwest is good but expensive
In Provo, Utah you have three options for DSL: Qwest, Earthlink, and Comcast.
Verizon's wireless plans offer download speeds of up to 12 mbps (megabits per second), while Qwest's Heavy Duty DSL plans provide speeds between 1.5 and 40 mbps.
Qwest and verison are both good.
The services offered by Qwest DSL are high speed internet service. The Qwest company also offers services such as local phone, long distance service and wireless phone service.
Qwest gives a good deal on dsl when you bundle. Most companies now offer bundles.
Modem cannot find dsl connection
Qwest does. Verizon has a plan. I think even comcast does.
Qwest offers a good dsl internet service for home use. We have had it and like it.
The comcast modem is a cable modem not a DSL modem so they cant be compared.
Qwest DSL can reach 7 Mb depending on where you live in relation to the providing office, or the remote terminal that feeds your neighborhood. Data hates distance, so the closer you get, the better your chances of getting faster speeds. In some areas served by Qwest, speeds are well exceeding 7 Mb.
