You need to have a gunsmith look at it.
I have a model 1100 Lt 20 ga. magnum and it will fire the 2&3/4 shells but will not cycle or eject them. Someone told me that the holes in the barrel to let the gas escape are different on the magnum. I bought another barrel for 2&3/4 shells and it cycles them fine with this barrel.
Try a thorough cleaning. If it still does it, send it back to Browning with a complete detailed description of all issues.
The 1100 mag shoots 3in. shells, the 1100 standard shoots 2 3/4in. shells.
yes,i actually do all the time,i use a bolt action mossberg .22 mag and it works fine, the only problem is the shells dont always eject if your using a bolt action -hope this helps
This gun should be cleaned completely to give it the smooth action it needs to load the shells from the mag to the chamber, completly disassemble and clean each part. use a good lub on the slideing parts

Yes.
This is a lightweight 20ga A5 made in 1966. The barrel should be marked for 2 3/4 shells. ***If the barrel is marked for 3" shells then it is not the original barrel. It is not safe to shoot 3" mag shells with the standard receiver.

Nope, its were you load the shotgun. Flip the gun upsidedown and put the butt on your hip. Slide the shells into the feeder tube.
