Blown fuse, bad starter, bad wires to the starter, no power.
no power to starter on Nissan 300zx twin turbo
It seems that there could be a problem with your starter. It happened to me too.
The starter relay, solenoid or starter itself most likely is bad. If you hear clicking from the starter when you turn the key, then the starter is most likely the cause.
the teeth on the starter could be worn out or the teeth on the flywheel could be worn out ... hopefully for you its just the starter if its the flywheel you will have to pull the tranny ...
remove the passenger front wheel and remove the 2 13mm bolts that hold it in and then you can disconect the positive cable on the starter. Note disconnect the battery first! The next time you do it you it will be easier and you wont have to remove the front wheel just turn it all the way to the left. If you buy a rebuilt starter you will be doing this every year or sooner/ buy a new Hitachi starter from Nissan and it should outlast the truck. remove the passenger front wheel and remove the 2 13mm bolts that hold it in and then you can disconect the positive cable on the starter. Check the fuel pump or the fuel ignition if its not getting gas.
== == I had the same problem with my 92 Nissan Stanza XE. Turns out it was the starter. You might need to look into getting a new starter. Also, have someone check your spark plugs, plug wires, and your fuel pump. I say fuel pump because after we fixed the starter problem. The fuel pump went bad. These are great cars, you just have to take a little extra care of them.
Loose or corroded battery cable?Blown fusable link?
The problem lies in the ignition switch - had a Nissan pick-up that did the same thing.
its either the trans or case
Tell them they're cheap idiots and get your money back.
