The most likely problem is crud in the idle jet..... Happens often... My buddy and I experience this all the time. The new gas with ethanol goes bad fast and algae will start to grow.... We have actually found algae in the carb bowl.... It's a pain in the butt.
under the seat where the throdle screws in the carb, there is an adjustment screw, turn right and it increases the idle. it worked for me. do it while running. It is a large flat head screw that is on the throttle body control mechanism. Not on the carburetor itself.
The four wheeler will run for a few seconds then just cut off and it wont have near as much power.
no it wont the only other one that will fit is off the banshee
It's in "reverse."
1990 gmc p/u 5.7 wont idle showing code 12
possibly idle air control vault getting faulty or restricted air flow
your truck wont idle correctly when its cold, because its cold...and nothing runs correctly when it's cold. your truck wont idle correctly when its cold, because its cold...and nothing runs correctly when it's cold.
Usually the spark plugs or the timing.
it probably wont line up correctly with the top end
Try the idle air control motor
the idle solinoid may need changing, or its power source is not plugged in or working. If the solinoid is not powered the carby wont know where to idle, it will drive fine but wont idle when you pull up at lights ect.
u dont set the idle the ecm does the setting througt the air idle conrtol. If it wont idle u need to replace the aic motor on the th0rottle body!
