Why won't a Stevens 311 12ga break open How is this fixed The left barrel was fired first and it would not break Then the right one Also the bolt holding the breaking lever in place cant be unscrewed?

most likely, its a defective gun. i would try to call the manufacturer and ask how to fix it hoped you get it fixed
